It’s officially on the market. The place that dreams are made of. The Playboy Mansion. For a mere $200M it can be yours… kinda. Just one catch. Hugh Hefner is staying until he dies. That’s not too much to ask, is it?
“The Playboy Mansion has been a creative center for Hef as his residence and workplace for the past 40 years, as it will continue to be if the property is sold.” said Playboy Enterprises CEO, Scott Flanders in a statement.
The press release for the listing also mentions that the property is “one of a select few residences in L.A. with a zoo license.”. A select few? How many zoos can there be in such a high end neighborhood? Anyhow, the 22,000-square-foot, 29-room home, on more than five acres in LA’s Holmby Hills neighborhood features everything a wealthy gentleman could want. I mean come on, It’s the Playboy Mansion.
Hefner himself does not currently own the property. Playboy Enterprises, which owns all related licensing, owns and currently rents the mansion to Hefner, occasionally using it for events and functions.
