Go Explore: National Parks Service Celebrates 100th Year in 2016

Looking for a different type of getaway this year?. What about a visit to a National Park? The National Park Service is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2016. The official anniversary is on August 25th, but the parks will be celebrating all year long with events and free admission on special days.

Free Admission Days:

  • January 18th: Martin Luther King Day
  • April 16th – 24th: National Park Week
  • August 25th – 28th: National Park Service Birthday
  • September 24th: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11th: Veterans Day
